Individual Practitioner
Individual arts and culture practitioners, including professional artists, arts administrators, Indigenous Traditional Knowledge Keepers, students of the arts, grant writers and arts/culture professionals at all stages of their career.

Arts and Culture Organization
Registered non-profit organizations and community service co-operatives with a dedicated arts and culture mandate and offering public arts and culture programming; professional book publishers; and, arts and culture organizations embedded within local governments or post-secondary institutions with independent advisory/governance structures.

Arts or Curatorial Collective
Unincorporated groups, ensembles, or collectives of three or more individual professional artists or cultural practitioners, that have the creation and/or presentation of artistic and curatorial projects as their primary activity.

First Nations Band Council and Indigenous Community Organization
First Nations Band Councils and Indigenous community organizations, including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit groups, without a dedicated arts mandate, that offer arts and culture programming.

Non-Profit Community Service Organization
Registered non-profit organizations or community service co-operatives that do not have a dedicated arts mandate. Eligible only for the Arts-Based Community Development program.
